No, it should read Conservatives and Constitutionalists hope for 3 years of election sweeps to save the country from Socialism. No more big government is what this country wants. Term limits is what this country needs, and smaller government intervention in our lives is what we are looking, and hoping for thru our voting efforts.
Is it really? I never heard of that. Are you looking for wealthy men? I know a hot and interesting place named Billionairepal.com where I have met my boyfriend. You may take a look.
That gas got to hurt! O gave dems the kiss of death!
BYE BYE LIBS! We gave you a shot! Now the party is over!
2010 2012 no libs or rhinos!
No Socialism, No Communism, No Totalitarianism, Less Racism. Praise the Lord, No more Total Govmt Takeover of all facits of Life. Say Yes to Entrepenurism, Say Yes to States Rights, Say Yes to Constitutionalism. Say No to Change =from the pot into the fire. Vote the Dems out. Vote Out Extremism.
Congrats to the two new Repub governors! It's way too early to read alot into this, but it's a great start. I'm from Jersey, and we're choked with taxing and spending. We were way liberal here, much like O is in Washington. Again, it's too early. but maybe - maybe O's crowd will hear that trying to push Americans so far left, will not work. All we want is for big gov't and its' tentacles off our backs and out of our lives. Now, shut up, sit down and give us a real healthcare bill that's not secret, about 250 pages, equitable and economical. Something like the minority party's bill today. FEAR THE VOTERS, NOT PELOSI!!!
It'll be interesting to see how the media downplays the idea that these GOP victories are a referendum on Obama. I'm sure Chris Mathews will be slobbering all over himself trying to explain it away. And Ed Schultz of The Ed Show (the absolute lamest of all the political talking heads!) will be forced to disparage all those "nutty tea-baggers" for tricking residents of NJ and Virginia into voting for these "right wing radicals."
Hopefully this is just a warm up for '10!!
unfortunately the govenors position is pretty much meaningless. California has a republican govenor with a house composed of mostly democrats which has created nothing but gridlock.
Republithugs look at minute victory as gains in a field of political landmines. Off election years bring out the Right Wing Nutjobs. The fires of the whackadoodle hearts are a'broiled in enthusiastic nothingness.
:-P
Congress has had the lowest approval ratings in history over the last couple of years and yet the voters in District 23 elect another democrat to add to the ranks of Pelosi and Reid. Scozzafava, a liberal running under the republican banner, who, just a few days before, dropped out of the race, received over 7100 votes. Why would someone vote for a candidate that is no longer running? What, if any, was the message they were trying to send, by doing so? Common sense seems to be a thing of the past for many. Does someone need to write a book, Voting for dummies?
While I am happy for the conservatives in occupied Virginia and New Jersey, noting has changed. No Pelosie drones were removed, so nothing has changed. No real message was sent that impacts anything nationally.
Yes, this is a slight resistance against the socialist Juggernaut rolling towards us, but the elections in 2010 are a year away. We must not become complacent. The democrats sensing their time is short, will re-double there efforts and speed up their time table.
We must keep up the pressure, we must no blink.
I have real low hopes for "Rep". Branded leadership. While they may be more conservative...not by much. I'd not set that bar too high. Also, just because people got out and voted doesn't mean it's finished. Just can't sit back and let the Seated do what ever they want, because they aren't a Dem.
Thank you Ms Sarah. Your intervention in NY worked just fine. A certain Republican win a few months ago turned into a free-for-all after your boyfriend Mr Hoffman entered the race. Then your slime money , coming into the race convinced the NY voters that they did not want your involvement. Therefore, the Democrat won in a district which has not been Democratic since the time of the Civil War. Congrats to Mr Owens. However , we owe this victory to Sarah and her tea party turkeys. Finally, a memo to Ms Sarah. Please get up your energy and work hard in 2010. Your splitting up of the Republicrook party will mean great things for Dems. Keep up your good work , and again thanks for a Democratic victory that has not happened in about 150 years. You betcha, Sarah. You sure did it well.
Very happy to see that the Nazis in up-state New York were bounced back to hell where they belong. National GOP, hoping that those crumbs would take all the votes in that election, can now crawl back under the rocks they and lick their kicked a$$es. Just like those a$$wipes to try to announce that there's no room for moderate Republicans. Good thing, now they can take that message as a national message and not just local.
Notice how that far right Rep candidate in up-state NY election looks as if he was born to wear a Gestapo uniform? I was there when we gutted those basturds in WWII, and now here they are running to control this nation -- this toleration krap has gone too far!
Voters threw out the Democrats big time last night. After voting in 2008 for Barack Obama to prove they were not racists, in 2009, voters chose the Republicans to prove they are not socialists. The love affair with the skinny socialist is over.
In Virginia, for the second time in history, the Republican Party swept all statewide offices. In New Jersey, despite multiple campaign trips by Barack Obama and his top pollster flown in to run Corzine's campaign, Republican Chris Christie trounced Corzine. In Pennsylvania, the Democratic State entrusted its Supreme Court to the Republican Party, which could help the GOP in redistricting next year.
In every state in which Barack Obama campaigned for a candidate, the candidate lost. Too bad he did not make it up to NY-23.
Marxist party win in NY-23 should be a wake-up call to Conservitives,
YES there are Marxist plants in the repub party, Check before you take her home,She may be Swinging a Richard bigger than yours and looking for a butt to poke it in.
The only real indicator was NY-23, which was won by the democrat. This seat hasn't gone to a Dem in living memory. It was against a Conservative as well, who was heavily defeated. There's your wake up call.
Besides, this race was about beating up incumbents, not about party loyalty. On that score, I'm good with the results. Get the incumbents out. Term limits!
I've said it before and I'll say it again...
In reality BOTH R's and D's got their asses handed to them last night.
Revolution comes from a soap box , a ballot box, or an ammo box. The first two have as much or more power than the third.
Congratulations to Thinking Americans who stood up for principle over party yesterday. There is hope for freedom after all.
Repubs haven't won a thing! you idiots lose everytime you vote in your insects to indoctrinate our weak minded americans!
