If they can sell it for that price one day a year why can't they sell it at that price every day all year long? I think it is a shame how GREEDY the corporate world has gotten. Especially in todays standings. They should be ashamed of themselves.

They can't sell things at the discounts they will be giving this year, not even for one day. They will because losing 20% on a tv is better then leaving the full cost of a tv on the shelf....Walmart, target, kmart, costco will all lead to the death of american retail...These companies are mere middlemen in the act of taking us $'s and sending them over seas...this is crap we need to step up and buy, produce and spend localy

The stores are advertising a few items at huge discounts, but look at the ads. They will say something like 'minimum of 3 per store' or 'limited quantity' which could mean one! Only the early few, the very early few go away happy; the rest disappointed. But let's hope the weather stays good and the stock market doesn't go down this week so people spend more.

Instead of gifts will just give the family some extra money so they will be able to pay some more bills. Gifts are nothing today but helping out with bills can help them more.
