Sea lions killed, but Columbia salmon toll rises (AP)

AP - Killing or removing 25 California sea lions over the past two years has not reduced the toll on salmon at the base of Bonneville Dam in the Columbia River. » Full Story on Yahoo! News

I can't believe people actually blame sea lions for low salmon numbers. Sea lions have been eating salmon for thousands of years. Salmon totals only dropped after people put up dams, polluted rivers and started fishing them commercially. Now were so desperate to catch those last few salmon we're shooting sea lions. We are causing our own extinction and I'm not sure that's a bad thing.

Shoot the idiots for taking the sea lion's food source. They have been here long b4 we got here. WE are invading their territories, not the other way around. Same goes for all wildlife.
