This story rings true. Why would Europe be anxious to do anything when it did little or nothing even when Hitler was at its doorstep. Until the terrorists stike in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo and the like, Europe can be expected to almost fully withdraw from any meaningful participation in fighting terrorism, in the battlefield or anywhere else, especially when the threat appears to be remote and so far removed from Europe.
Why should Europe invest it's lives in a war that Obama gives every indication, that we won't. God forbid that we should act in our own interest.

The Europeans were obligated by being members of NATO and 9/11 being an attack on a NATO member country. This might be the end of NATO unless another false flag attack is generated in an attempt to preclude dissolving said organization.
After Obama is defeated in 2012, when Europe asks the U.S. for help in fighting some enemy, as in the past, we are simply going to say "N O". End of the story.......
Screw Europe. Bring the troops home from every European country, stop foreign aid and let them fend for themselves. If they ask us for help when the muslim hoards finally destroy their culture tell then, "Sorry, don't want to 'interfere'. You might not like us".

I don't blame europe for not wanting to send it's troops to Afghanistan,we should bring all our troops and their toys home and let that heap of dung just rot.
European nations are unlikely to contribute more troops to Afghanistan.
But just like many countries have contributed troops in Iraq for example other than Germany and France, they will be glad to open up businesses in Afghanistan once the violence is reduced. It is typical of the current leadership in Europe.
Europe has suffered as much or more from religious fanatics of all stripes. Do we remember that it was the good ole USA who supplied and supported the Taliban in Afganistan. And that the miserable country of Afganistan, on Russias' border, destroyed the Soviet Union.
But Barak reached and and kised their asses and told them we were wrong to think we should act alone. What has changed in 9 months for the GOOD?
